Our Story

How it all started...

In 1983,  the Wesley United Methodist (former ME) and Salem United Methodist (former EUB) churches united to form the Mount Holly Springs United Methodist Church and erect a new building on top of the hill.
They merged and opened their doors in 1985.

Following His Lead...

On December 12, 2022, the congregation voted 36-0 to disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church, and that disaffiliation (along with 140 others) was approved at a special session of the Susquehanna Conference on May 17, 2023.

On June 25, 2023, Mt. Holly Springs UMC officially became Hilltop Community Church, a congregation devoted to living according to the standard of Scripture and upholding Biblical values.

Where we're headed now...

Hilltop Community Church is seeking to become a multi-generational congregation. We are looking to continue growing and bringing the gospel to the community. We have a passion for seeing those around us impacted by the reality of the gospel daily and intentionally work with other local ministries to advance the Kingdom of God here in Mt. Holly Springs.

Whether you're new to Christ or have been walking with Him for a while, you are always welcome! Our goal is to create an environment where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, discover and develop their God-given identity through authentic encounters with the Living God and consistent fellowship with His Bride, the Church.
